Mr. Steven Meyer
Music Teacher
A resident of Hayward, I attended St. Joachim School and Moreau Catholic High School. I went on to study at USF where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and CSU, Hayward, also Magna Cum Laude. I received my teaching credential in 1982 from CSU, Hayward. I am certified from St. John’s University in Boy Choir Managing and Choir and Non-Profit Administration. Additional certifications include Beginning Gregorian Chant from the Abbey of St. Peter in France, the Beginning Orff Schulwerke from the Northern California Orff Association and the Choral Music of George F. Handel from Loma Linda University. I also attended the Royal School of Church Music and the Westminster Choir College where I studied Handbells and Children’s Choir. I have received recognition with the Bay Area Gospel Music Award and the Outstanding Catholic Diocesan Teacher Mother Seton Award. In addition to teaching choral music here at All Saints, I am the music teacher at Saint Vincent de Paul School in San Francisco. I also serve as the organist and choirmaster at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish.
